    Actually, you are not limited to an X! You may be interested in this mod from onebag that was posted a year ago. It only requires a few additional parts to make a great jacket holder etc. Use the search function (magnifying glass) and keywords “backpack mods” and “bungee mods” to see other examples. You can also add things like nylon pad eyes to create more loops. Run the bungee around the four attachment points with the pad eyes added on the sides. Then you can run a criss cross loop across the middle. Edit again. Also Bungee cord connectors

    i bought a bungee to attach to it... and it doesnt really work with 4. if you sew 2 more in yes, it'll work alot better. other options are 4 point helmet attachment nets

    The brand Hikeman on Amazon has 3 different backpack bag attachments. There's a mesh one that acts as a front pocket which attaches to the 4 lash points of any backpack. I've been using 2 of them for climbing shoes.
