What is the smallest pack possible for my trip ?

嗨！我（22岁男）正在计划我人生第一次背包旅行，今年秋天去意大利两周。我会走很经典的路线：飞过去，坐巴士和火车旅行，住青旅。我其实很习惯荒野背包旅行，但从来没做过这种旅行式的背包，所以对这种旅行的装备我挺没经验的。我最大的问题是关于包，我的航班只包含一件客舱行李，而且我本来也不喜欢背太多东西，所以我在想：我真的需要超过20L或30L吗？因为我只会带几件衬衫和内衣，可以在青旅洗，而且如果我不带任何徒步装备，我真的看不出还有什么会占空间…… 有人有类似旅行用这种容量的经验吗？谢谢！

Hi ! I (22M) am planning my very first travel backpacking trip in Italy for two weeks this automne. I'll be doing the quite classical : fly-in, travel by bus and rail and sleep in hostel. I'm actually quite used to wilderness backpacking but never did the travel kind of backpacking so i'm quite unexperiences when it comes to equipment for this kind of travel. My big question is about the bag, my flight only include a cabin luggage and I dont like to carry much on my back anyway so i'm wondering : do I really need more than a 20L or 30L ? Because i'll only be carrying a few shirt and underwear that I can wash in hostel, and if i don't have any hiking stuff i really dont see what could take up the space ... Do anyone have experience with such volume for similar trip ? Thank you !

我用一个32L加一个日包，还剩下很多空间。两周的话你肯定可以更小。过去26年我每年夏天都会去某个地方背包一两个月，所以如果你想看我的打包清单来对比，告诉我。

I use a 32L plus a daypack and have plenty of room left over. You can definitely go smaller for 2 weeks. I’ve backpacked somewhere for a month or two every summer for the past 26 years, so let me know if you want my packing list to compare.

32L还有富余是真的。我用20L做过几周的旅行，诀窍就是不带任何你到了那里真需要时可以便宜买到的东西。牙膏、防晒霜，那些东西很占空间，你可以落地后再买。你通常不带什么大多数人会过度打包的东西？

32L with room to spare is real. I've done a couple weeks out of a 20L and the trick is just not bringing anything you can buy there for cheap if you really need it. Toothpaste, sunscreen, that stuff eats space and you can grab it after landing. What do you usually leave behind that most people overpack?

我只带Bedrock凉鞋和轻量越野跑鞋。我也经常用Scrubbr袋子洗衣服，所以不会带很多衣服。

I only take Bedrock sandals and light trailrunners for shoes. I also do laundry often in a Scrubbr bag, so I don’t take many clothes.
