Maybe this is a dumb question but am I supposed to leave this foam pad in or remove it from my Zpack backpack. Not sure if it just for shipping.

    That's to help give a little support to the pack itself and also doubles as a sit pad for yourself. I have one in my Gossamer Gear pack as well
