Hey all, I'm looking to purchase my first tent for use in the Uinta mountains next month (October) for 2-3 nights. I don't anticipate it will be used by anyone other than me, and I'm definitely not an ultralight/through hiker type guy, although I will probably be packing it in for 1-5 miles-ish so not car camping. Update on this: none of the warehouses in my area have any kind of tent in stock, which is wild since I live in an area with tons of Costcos and a huge outdoors scene. Killer deal for anyone that can get one though!

这是一套将近 5lb 的装备，但包含 footprint。未压缩体积大约 12 升，作为参考，相对于占用的背包体积，不过我猜如果用压缩袋并把帐杆分开，大概更像 8-10L。但以 70% off msrp 来说很难被打败。如果你想让我寄一顶，直接私信我，我看看能做什么。

It’s an almost 5lb kit, but includes the footprint. Uncompressed volume comes in around 12 liters for reference relative to pack volume consumed, though I’d guess more like 8-10L if compressed with poles separate. But hard to beat for 70% off msrp. Message me direct if you’re wanting one shipped and I can see what I can do.

You really don't need much. Once-upon-a-time, plastic tube tents were widely accepted. These weighed a few ounces and were basically disposable. They worked, although not vs mosquitos. Walmart sells Stansport Eagle Backpacking Tent for $50. It's very roomy for one and totally effective vs insects. Much, much lighter & less bulky than a freestanding tent and equally weatherproof. Ditch any steel. Must seal seams on ANY tent!!!!
