    不错，总是很喜欢看以前的东西。这些一直在演变，我15年前入行的时候，类似的东西还存在……这些小册子里的一些信息变成了 rei.com/learn 上更长的文章，而店里能拿到的印刷品则变成了更简略的通用信息，但附带了大量更常见、大多数门店都有货的产品的规格，这样顾客可以带回家帮助自己做决定。这些被称为 PIG，也就是产品信息指南。 后来他们停掉了 PIG，理由是环境影响和数据一直在变，但可能只是想促使顾客去找店员，而店员则可以专注于向他们推销信用卡。现在你在那里能找到的店员更少了，他们跑来跑去，给你的时间/关注更少，而且往往经验和培训也更少。我赌这还会继续演变，变成内置于你手机 REI 应用里的代理式 AI 平台。

    Neat, always enjoy seeing what came before. These continued to evolve and something similar were still a thing when I started 15 years ago.. some of the info in these pamphlets moved into longer article form found at rei.com/learn, while the printouts available in store instead carried more sparse general info but lots of product specs for a whole slew of more common items stocked to most stores, so shoppers could take them home to help with their decisions. These were called PIGs or product info guides. Later they discontinued PIGs citing environmental impact and dynamic data changing all the time, but probably just wanted shoppers to instead engage with a worker who could then focus on selling them a credit card. Now the fewer workers you find there are running around and giving you less time/attention, and often have less experience & training. My money is on this continuing to evolve into an agentic AI platform built into the REI app on your phone.
